#discipline
Over time you will find that discipline is a very important factor in life. The negative alternatives to this are called hesitation, procrastination or giving up, laziness and disorder - deadly when it comes to pursuing your goals, when it comes to your own personal success. Therefore, invest time and effort into your goals with discipline and commitment. Don't hesitate, don't put off your jobs. Do them quickly and keep at it - until!

(Henry Ford)
Your attitude is a decisive factor for success in life. In order to achieve your goals, you should be on the road with a good portion of passion, i.e. that you dedicate yourself to the really important topics with skin and hair.
Think positive
For me, there is absolutely no question that I can influence my world quite significantly by the way I see it. If I'm a rather positive person, the glass is always half full for me. If I go through life with a rather negative attitude, my glass is always half empty. This small difference in my attitude towards things has a major impact on the quality of my life! There are people who everyone calls sunshine. Wherever they are, there is a good mood. They see the positive in everything and everyone. And that makes life much easier for them. Those who tend to brood more and assess many things more negatively than others are less happy and less relaxed on the road. Does that mean I'm a victim of my thoughts? Nobody is a victim. At least not from birth. However, there are basically two types of people - of course speaking in black and white:
• Some actually see themselves as victims and tend to blame the circumstances for their predicament. Those are the pessimists. Victims often say that something "happened" to them. They find life unfair and seek compassion. For them, the glass is usually half empty.
• In contrast, the others take responsibility for their lives. They don't settle for the circumstances, they create the circumstances they want. Those are the omoptimists. Optimists are winners. They do not know powerlessness, but are creators of their own reality. They reap what they sow. For them, the glass is always half full.
You are anything but the victim of your thoughts - on the contrary: you alone are the ruler of your thoughts. Together with your subconscious, they are your most powerful ally. You have the power to change your thoughts. This gives you the power to change your life and your future. Your subconscious has stored every experience you have ever had. Your subconscious is responsible for making you feel good or bad about something. Your subconscious is responsible for your gut decisions. Your thoughts feed your subconscious with information. Allow your subconscious to do its job. All you need is a positive attitude. Be optimistic (not arrogant), see the future positively and be grateful - then you can reap tomorrow what you sow today. Give your dreams, your wishes and goals to your subconscious as clear, positive thoughts, be confident that everything will happen exactly like that and live with joy. You don't need to do much more. In the next step, you just have to remember to act.
Back to my assertion that dreams tend to come true sooner or later - so far I have not told you one important fact: Dreams tend to come true when you believe firmly enough that they will come true, if you “charge” them with many positive thoughts. If you really believe that you will achieve certain goals, the probability of occurrence is higher than if you have certain doubts. Charge your goals with positive thoughts. Believe that your goals will eventually come true. Be positive about every small step you take to reach your big goal. Keep your feet on the ground. Of course there are dead ends and one-way streets - but don't throw in the towel and firmly believe that you will find the right way. Get up again and again.
The closer I get to my goals over time, the more relaxed I become. Serenity is an important thing in life. If you are calm, you are relaxed, you don´t get upset about little things. Serenity is not something you can just prescribe for yourself. But good experiences and the necessary down-to-earthness will eventually lead to this nice feeling of “things are going well” and “everything will work out”.
Your subconscious plays an important role in your life. Over time you will develop a feeling for what is right. Listen to yourself. What does your feeling tell you, what does your subconscious mean? There are many things between heaven and earth that cannot be explained. Often enough in your life you will have the feeling: "That's exactly how it should be now. This is not a coincidence!” I've experienced it myself over and over again: When you feed your subconscious with positive thoughts about your desires and goals, you eventually magically attract many of the things you imagine. You, too, will experience many good things in your life for which you simply have no explanation, but which fit perfectly into your big plan with excellent timing. However, without the support of the necessary initiative (my actions), the whole thing does not work. As I have pointed out elsewhere, the key difference between a dream and a goal is action. Ultimately, you can only reap what you have sown if, after the formulation of the goal, charged by your positive thoughts, you consistently align your own actions to the fulfillment of your goals.
do your thing
Once you have decided for yourself what is important and right, do your thing consistently! Don't look left and right, but get optimistic and enthusiastic about going your own way. Do not hesitate unnecessarily, start today. Don't look at other people's approval and opinion, unimportant. Be yourself. Dare to try new, crazy things. Be different and do your thing. Keep your feet on the ground and think for yourself. If you think you've made the right decision: step on the gas and optimistically do everything you can to make the whole thing a success. Fight, get up again, enjoy.
There is an amazing incident in the life of two very successful people: Bill Gates and Warren Buffet. At their very first meeting, a dinner at Bill Gates' mother's house, the hostess asked everyone present for the one, most important success factor in life. Everyone had to write their answer on a piece of paper. Amazingly, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet wrote the exact same word on their paper: “FOCUS“. Their message is: Don't get bogged down. Concentrate on the essentials. Dedicate yourself most intensively to the decisive topics or the most important goals in your life. Do your thing!
find your unique selling proposition
In marketing there is the beautiful term "USP", which means "unique selling proposition" - translated as much as "Unique Sales Promise"; or simply "Unique Selling Point". What distinguishes my product or my business idea? What makes it special, unique?
Why should people buy my idea right now? If you open the fifth kebab shop in your village, the chances are not very good that this "idea" will be a success. A little more creativity is required.
If you want to be more successful than the others, you have to be different from the others. You have to bring something with you that sets you apart from the crowd, that makes you unique, interesting. If you later want to work in the automotive industry, a few internships and a diploma thesis at well-known automotive companies or their sales organizations or dealers will definitely help. If you want to become a teacher, you should already have experience with children and young people, either by working as a coach or tutor in a youth team for a period of time or by looking after children at a summer youth camp somewhere abroad. If you want to become a chef, experience in different kitchens will help, ideally even abroad. Have you seen how curries are made in India? Advantage! Made sushi in Japan and sniffed it out at a well-known Chinese dim sum restaurant? Huge Advantage!! And in Austria you learned how real Wiener Schnitzel and an honest Kaiserschmarrn work? You got the job!!! So now the only question left is how you get to India, Japan, China and Austria... And here is the rule: Creativity usually leads to the goal.
Think. Think about where the journey should go for you and what you can do to prepare yourself better than others for your very special goals. What makes you stand out? What makes you more attractive? Why do you bring your counterpart further than anyone else? Be creative, be crazy and innovative. You don't always have to apply to others. Perhaps it is much more effective if you implement your ideas yourself as an entrepreneur. It is better to work for yourself than for others. What do you have to do under these conditions? What do you need to know
invest sweat and work in your goals
I don't want to give you any illusions: success means sweat and hard work. But if you are willing to invest your time, your passion and your creativity, you will be handsomely rewarded. It takes tremendous effort coupled with passion to make it to the top. No one is asking you to make it into the world class. I just want to help you achieve your goals and be happy. You alone decide how high you set your goals and you alone decide how much sweat and work you want to invest. I have found that it is very often fun to do more than is necessary. It's like in sports: if you like something, you see meaning in it, you spend more time with it and like to torture yourself. Let's take the example of "success at work". If you love what you do, you'll find it easier, even fun, to invest the time that makes you successful. If you work in an environment you don't like, you will be reluctant to put in more time. So try to find a job where everything fits. Find the hobbies and friends that justify the extra time you put in because you like them.
One thing is crystal clear to me: the bigger the goals, the more sweat and work it takes. For the High school diploma you have to cram more than for a secondary school diploma. Studying at the university is more difficult than at a technical college. However, the chances of getting a top job later are correspondingly better. You decide.
never give up
Here and now it's still about the topic passion! Namely the passion that is conducive to your goals. The passion that sets you apart from the crowd. And that's the way it is in life: if you want to succeed, you never give up. Period. Fighting spirit, my dear!
motivate yourself
Motivation is the magic word. As a child and teenager, you have your parents who – if things are going well – will help you from time to time. "Don't be satisfied with this." / "You can do better than that!" / "This can't be what you want." etc. From point x you suddenly have to push yourself if you want to make progress. Then your parents are only available to you from a distance. You have your own apartment and decide for yourself whether you want to go to the lecture today or rather go to the lake with sweet Julia. Difficult, difficult!
From time x you are not only responsible for your own motivation, you also have to see how you deal with your worries and problems. Fortunately, I have a few good tips for the latter two topics, which we will discuss in detail later. They are too important. But the topic of motivation is something you have to deal with on your own, without any additional tips. And you can do it! Make sure your energy isn't wasted on unnecessary things. If you write an important exam the next day, the party will be cancelled. And also the film or computer game evening until late at night. That goes without saying, doesn't it? Of course I know that this is not as natural as an old geezer typing into his computer at the age of 50 - when you are young and wild... But when you have big goals at the same time - discipline is required my dear!
Over time you will find that discipline is a very important factor in life. The negative alternatives to this are called hesitation, procrastination or giving up, laziness and disorder - deadly when it comes to pursuing your goals, when it comes to your own personal success. Therefore, invest time and work in your goals in a disciplined and committed manner. Dont hesitate, don't put off your jobs. Do them quickly and keep at it -until!
Be optimistic, enthusiastic, passionate, combative, crazy and from time to time a bit reasonable, hardworking and disciplined - preferably as the situation requires or allows.
order and cleanliness, organization
If you want to lead a relaxed life, get used to organizing yourself sensibly. Order and cleanliness, my dear! This will help you in your professional life as well as in your private life. Timely and continuous tidying up: enormously important for avoiding stress. Mountains of documents on your desk? Deadly! How do you want to keep track of that?
a) Get in the habit of getting rid of all unimportant things immediately
b) Important documents that do not require action are immediately put into your funtioning filing system
c) You put things that have to be done soon in your follow-up
d) The things that you want to do promptly can stay on your desk
e) I advise against creating and maintaining so-called "to-do lists". After my experience it is better to enter all important tasks immediately in your digital calendar, exactly on the date on which you actually want to tackle these tasks. This way you plan your time systematically and you don't forget anything essential. Your calendar is your to-do list.
Please also ensure order and cleanliness at home, regardless of whether it is about general tidying and cleaning of your apartment, the laundry, the contents of the refrigerator, washing up after cooking or the various bills that regularly flutter into the house. The more stuff that accumulates, the more chaotic, confusing and therefore more stressful it becomes at some point. It is always best to tackle things immediately. Then there is no stress at all. And of course, the same applies here: first things first.
have trust
You cannot control everything in your life. And you can't explain everything in your life. You can set goals, define measures and underpin the whole thing with positive thoughts. Good conditions for a good life. And yet, in addition to your own goals and actions, you also need a certain basic trust to simply place yourself in the lap of this life and trust in what comes. Let the magic of life come to you. Just let yourself fall now and then.
Be thankful
All the good things you are allowed to experience should not be taken for granted! My grandparents still lived under great privations in times of war. Even today, wars, poverty and oppression can be found all over the world. It is anything but a matter of course to live in a democracy. It is not a matter of course to be able to drink clear water simply from the tap. School education - a real luxury in many places.
You can elect your own government. As modest as the options may often seem to you, at least you have some. And if you don't like the options at all, change them. Add new options yourself if it is really important to you. But please beware of self-pity. You have no reason for it. Look around you in the world. How well you are doing compared to many, many others. You are sick? Not nice. But at least you have a doctor you can go to and who will help you. Not self-evident, if you go through life with open eyes. There are more than enough examples of this kind.
Enjoy life! Be grateful for everything it offers you. Enjoy the little things. Be open for the many magic moments, for the interpersonal happiness. Be grateful!
The world, it will treat you badly, believe me!
If you want to have a life: steal it!
(Lou Andreas-Salomé)
